Description

The SPARTNA SPR-982 is a portable digital indentation hardness tester designed primarily for the aluminum processing industry. It measures the hardness of pure aluminum, soft and thick aluminum alloys, aluminum strips, sections, bars, castings, forgings, and other aluminum alloy products. It also supports testing in the fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) industry. Compliant with ASTM B648-10(2015), ASTM D2583-13, and GB/T 3854-2005 standards, it delivers readings on the Barcol scale (Hba) and—on the SPR-982+ variant—converts results to Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV), Webster (HW), and Rockwell (HRB/HRE/HRF/HRH) scales. Its one-sided testing design requires no support backing, making it ideal for field and shop use.
